Why Cultivate Your Wellbeing
Pelvic health is not something we occasionally treat. It is what we specialize in every day.
Your care is one-on-one with a doctor of physical therapy who truly specializes in pelvic health and is deeply committed to this work. We know how much pelvic health symptoms can affect your daily life, confidence, relationships, movement, and sense of self. That is why we take time to listen, help you understand what may be contributing to your symptoms, and build a plan that supports both your body and your goals.
Our team is also committed to ongoing education, advanced training, and continually refining our skills so we can provide thoughtful, evidence-informed care. Pelvic health is complex, and we believe you deserve a provider who is curious, compassionate, and truly committed to helping you feel better.
We have many tools in our toolbox when it comes to treatment, including hands-on care, movement, breathwork, pelvic floor coordination, dry needling, cupping, visceral work, exercise, education, and personalized home programs. Your treatment plan is never a generic checklist. It is built around your body, your goals, your comfort level, and your real life.
You Are in the Right Place If…
You are tired of being told your symptoms are “normal,” but they do not feel normal to you.
You are dealing with bladder leakage, urgency, constipation, pelvic pain, pressure, heaviness, painful intimacy, abdominal discomfort, or symptoms that are affecting your life.
You are pregnant, postpartum, navigating perimenopause or menopause, recovering from surgery, managing a long-standing issue, or trying to understand what your body needs.
You want more than a handout of exercises. You want someone to listen, explain what may be contributing to your symptoms, and help you build a plan that feels supportive, realistic, and effective.
Whether your symptoms are new or something you have been living with for years, we are here to help you feel less alone, more informed, and more confident in your next step.
Our Approach
Our care is education-first because we believe one of the best ways to heal your body is to understand it better.
Pelvic health symptoms often have more than one contributing factor, which is why we look at the whole picture. Your care begins with listening. We want to understand your symptoms, your history, your movement patterns, your goals, and how this is affecting your real life.
From there, treatment may include hands-on techniques, including visceral manipulation to address restrictions in the abdomen and pelvis, nervous system support, breathing and pressure management, pelvic floor coordination, strength and mobility work, and activity-specific exercise. Each visit is one-on-one with your physical therapist, so your plan can evolve as your body responds.
Our goal is not only to help improve the symptoms that brought you in, but also to help you leave with tools, confidence, and a better understanding of your body moving forward.

“Cultivate Your Wellbeing’s office feels more like visiting a friend than going to an appointment. You feel welcome, heard, and leave feeling better. They’ll even help hold your baby if you can’t find a sitter. Highly recommend.”

Frequently Asked Questions
-
In Wisconsin, you do not need a referral to begin physical therapy. You can contact us directly to schedule an evaluation or a free 15-minute consultation. Some insurance plans may still require a referral for reimbursement, so it is always a good idea to check your out-of-network benefits if you plan to submit superbills.
-
Your first visit is one hour long and one-on-one with your physical therapist. We will spend time talking through your symptoms, health history, goals, and any concerns you have. Your evaluation may include movement assessment, breathing and pressure management, strength and mobility testing, hands-on assessment, and pelvic floor assessment when appropriate and with your consent.
-
No. An internal pelvic floor exam is never required. For some patients, it can provide helpful information, but it is always your choice. Your physical therapist will explain what is recommended, why it may be helpful, and what your options are. You are always in control of your care.
-
Yes. You can still come to your appointment if you have your period. We can adjust your visit based on your comfort level that day. If an internal pelvic floor assessment was planned, it is always your choice whether to continue, modify, or save that part for another visit.
-
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Depending on your symptoms and goals, your visit may include movement assessment, breathing work, strength or mobility testing, hands-on treatment, or exercise. We also have gowns available if needed.
-
No. Please do not worry about shaving, waxing, or grooming before your appointment. We are medical professionals, and our focus is on helping you feel comfortable, supported, and cared for.
-
Cultivate Your Wellbeing is an out-of-network physical therapy clinic. This allows us to provide one-on-one, individualized care without the restrictions of insurance-based visit limits or treatment requirements. We can provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance plan for out-of-network reimbursement.
-
Yes. We offer free 15-minute virtual consultations so you can ask questions, share a little about what is going on, and learn whether pelvic health physical therapy may be a good fit for you.
