What to Expect From Care at Cultivate Your Wellbeing
At Cultivate Your Wellbeing, your care is one-on-one with a doctor of physical therapy. Appointments are typically one hour, giving us time to listen to your story, assess how your body is functioning, provide hands-on care when appropriate, and build a plan that feels realistic for your life.
Pelvic health concerns are personal, and your comfort matters. We will always explain your options, answer your questions, and ask for your consent before any part of your exam or treatment. Your plan may include manual therapy, movement, breathwork, pelvic floor coordination, dry needling, cupping, visceral work, education, and a home program based on your symptoms and goals.
Our goal is to help you understand what is contributing to your symptoms and support you with care that feels thoughtful, individualized, and collaborative.
Patient Experience
Our clinic has grown, but the heart of our care has stayed the same: thoughtful, individualized pelvic health physical therapy that helps patients feel heard, supported, and confident in their next steps.
“Katie Tredo is an outstanding physical therapist. Katie’s high level of expertise was clear to me within the first 10 minutes of our conversation and was borne out through my experience. Katie is both very intelligent and very compassionate, two traits that unfortunately do not always co-exist.
My therapy with Katie could not be described as anything but a resounding success, and it significantly and positively impacted the quality of my life. I highly recommend Katie for anyone in need. I know from experience that you will not be disappointed in having made that choice. Rather, you will count yourself fortunate for having done so.”

At Cultivate Your Wellbeing, pelvic health is not something we occasionally treat. It is what we specialize in every day. Our doctors of physical therapy have advanced training in pelvic health and are deeply committed to ongoing education so we can provide thoughtful, effective, evidence-informed care.
One of our first priorities is helping you understand your body. We have found that when patients understand what may be contributing to their symptoms, they feel less confused, less alone, and more confident in the steps we are taking together. When you understand what your body is doing and why your symptoms are showing up, the plan starts to make more sense and progress feels more possible.
Your care is one-on-one, individualized, and guided by your symptoms, goals, comfort level, and life. We have many tools in our toolbox when it comes to treatment, including manual therapy, movement, breathwork, pelvic floor coordination, dry needling, cupping, visceral work, education, and personalized home programs. Your treatment plan is never a generic checklist. It is built around what your body needs, what makes sense for your season of life, and what will help you make meaningful progress.

That is very common. You do not need to know exactly which category your symptoms fit into before reaching out.
Pelvic health symptoms often overlap. For example, bladder symptoms may be connected to constipation, pelvic pain, postpartum recovery, menopause, or pelvic floor tension. We can help you sort through what you are experiencing and guide you toward the right type of care.

Your first visit includes time to talk through your symptoms, health history, goals, and what you would like to get back to. Your physical therapist will complete an individualized assessment, explain what they are noticing, and begin building a plan with you.
Depending on your needs and comfort level, your visit may include movement assessment, breathing and pressure management, pelvic floor assessment, manual therapy, education, and a home program. You will always have the opportunity to ask questions and make informed choices about your care.

Cultivate Your Wellbeing is an out-of-network physical therapy clinic. This means we do not bill insurance directly and payment is due at the time of service.
Many patients with out-of-network benefits choose to submit superbills to their insurance company for possible reimbursement. We are happy to provide the documentation you need, but reimbursement depends on your individual insurance plan.
We also accept HSA and FSA cards. Our team is happy to answer questions about payment options before you schedule.

No. In Wisconsin, you can schedule physical therapy without a physician referral. At Cultivate Your Wellbeing, you can call or text us directly to get started.
We also value collaboration with your healthcare team. While a referral is not required, many patients choose to have us send their evaluation findings and treatment plan to their physician, OB/GYN, midwife, urologist, gastroenterologist, pediatrician, or other provider. We are also happy to communicate with your healthcare team when needed.
