Pelvic Health Physical Therapy Brookfield

Expert, compassionate pelvic health care on Capitol Drive

Welcome to our Brookfield office. We are so glad you are here.

Here you will find the same expert, one-on-one pelvic health care Cultivate Your Wellbeing is known for, now in Waukesha County, serving Brookfield and the western suburbs. We help women, men, and children with pelvic pain, bladder and bowel concerns, pregnancy and postpartum changes, prolapse, pain with intimacy, and musculoskeletal symptoms you may have been carrying for a long time.

We take time to listen, understand your story, and build a plan that is specific to your body, your symptoms, and your goals, so you can feel heard, understand your body, and move forward with confidence.

Pelvic health is not something we occasionally treat. It is what we specialize in every day.

Every appointment is one-on-one with a doctor of physical therapy who specializes in pelvic health, in a private treatment room. Our team is committed to ongoing education and advanced training, and we are proud members of The Menopause Society and the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health (ISSWSH).

Pelvic health is complex, and we believe you deserve a provider who is curious, deeply knowledgeable, and truly invested in helping you feel better.

Just as important, we care about you as a whole person. We know pelvic health symptoms can affect your confidence, your relationships, your movement, and how you feel in your own body. Your visit starts with listening, because your story matters.

Once you are in your treatment room, it is quiet, private, and one-on-one: simply you, your physical therapist, and the time and space to talk openly about what is going on.

If you need childcare during your visit, you may benefit from booking at our Mequon clinic, where we do offer it.

Rooted in Knowledge. Delivered with Compassion. Designed for You.

An Individualized Treatment Plan Created for You

Pelvic health symptoms often have more than one contributing factor, so we look at the whole picture: your pelvic floor, breathing, hips, spine, abdomen, nervous system, and bladder and bowel habits, along with your history and goals.

Depending on what your body needs, your care may include education, hands-on treatment, visceral work, pelvic floor coordination, breathwork, dry needling, cupping, movement, exercise, and a personalized home program. Not everyone needs every tool. Your plan evolves as your body responds.

An internal pelvic floor assessment can give helpful information, but it is always optional. We explain your options, and you decide what feels right.

Our goal is to help with the symptoms that brought you in, and to help you leave with tools, confidence, and a better understanding of your body.

A Fresh Perspective When You Are Still Looking for Answers

Many of the people we see in Brookfield have already worked hard on their health. They may have tried physical therapy before, been handed a sheet of generic exercises, or followed a plan that helped a little but never got to the root of the problem. If that sounds like you, you are not alone, and it is not your fault.

Pelvic health is our specialty, every day. With a full hour together, we take the time to find the root cause of your symptoms, not just treat the symptom itself. We look at how your pelvic floor, core, hips, scar tissue, bowel and bladder habits, and nervous system work together, then build a plan that is truly specific to you.

Pelvic Organ Prolapse

Prolapse can show up as heaviness, pressure, or bulging. We help you understand what is happening, manage pressure, and coordinate your pelvic floor and core so you can keep lifting, exercising, and doing what you love. Physical therapy can benefit you whether or not you also use a pessary or are considering surgery.

Musculoskeletal Pain

Back, hip, or tailbone pain that keeps coming back, even after stretching, strengthening, or other care, can be so frustrating. The pelvic floor may be the missing link. We look at how your pelvic floor, core, hips, and functional movement patterns work together to help your progress last.

Menopause & Hormonal Changes

Perimenopause and menopause can bring bladder urgency, leaking, vaginal dryness, and pain with intimacy, often called genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM). Clogged Ducts & Lactation Support

Clogged ducts, breast pain, and mastitis can make feeding feel overwhelming fast. We offer gentle, research-informed care, including lymphatic drainage, therapeutic ultrasound, kinesiotaping, and feeding position support, to calm inflamed tissue and help you feel more comfortable.

Postpartum Recovery

Being cleared at your six-week visit does not always mean you feel ready to lift, run, or enjoy intimacy again. We help bridge that gap with individualized care for leaking, pelvic pressure, diastasis recti, C-section or perineal scar discomfort, and returning to exercise, so you can reach your goals with confidence.
